Lina Khalfallah is an Architect and PhD Candidate at the University of Algiers 1 – Benyoucef Benkhedda, specialising in Architecture and Urban Planning, with a focus on the use of digital technologies in the development of new cities.
After her MS in Architecture, she gained experience working in various enterprises until 2020, when she started lecturing on urban infrastructures and mobility at the Polytechnical School of Architecture and Urban Planning (EPAU). Since starting her PhD, she has also given various lectures at the University of Algiers 1 – Benyoucef Benkhedda on Architectural studio, History of Architecture and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
Currently, she is researching the role of digital transformation of mobility in the development of new cities in Algeria: the case of the new city of Sidi Abdellah. As part of her PhD program, she won two scholarships to the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, collaborating with the Civic IxD research group in 2023 and 2024.
