Gabriele, Paul, Tamara submitted two joint application with Martijn Stuiver from NKI (and other partners) to Urban Vitality (SPRONG) last Friday. One project (COG WHEELS : A COMBINED COGNITIVE AND PHYSICAL TRAINING PROGRAM FOR PATIENTS WITH BRAIN OR HEAD AND NECK CANCER) aims at improving cognitive functioning of patients treated for brain or head and neck cancer, through combined physical exercise and cognitive training. We aim to develop and prototype an intervention that combines the effective elements of physical exercise and cognitive challenges in a pleasurable, game‐like, immersive experience. The second project (ON TRACK COMPANION) aims at designing an application to collect and share health status data to enhance supervised exercise therapy during cancer treatment.
