Tessa Steenkamp & Martijn de Waal give lecture at Urban Technology’ undergraduate programme at University of Michigan Ann Arbour

During their stay in the U.S.A., Tessa Steenkamp and Martijn de Waal visited the ‘Urban Technology’ undergraduate programme at the Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning, University of Michigan. It’s a course about cities and their working: blending design, technology and governance. 

In a lunch lecture, Tessa and Martijn spoke about “digital technology’s effects on the way citizens experience the city—and whether the freedoms we enjoy are given or demanded” as the programme’s director Bryan Boyer unpacked their talk in his (always interesting!) newsletter, which you can read below.
