Together with Network Culture’s Inte Gloerich and Northumbria’s John Vines, Chris Elsden & Anne Spaa, Martijn contributed to a new article published in Interactions Magazine, ‘Making the Blockchain Civic’. The article reports on some speculative design workshops organized last year with Northumbria’s Northlab, and to which also Nicolai, Gabriele, Adam and Ben contributed
The workshop set out to understand the terrain for blockchain technologies in much more local and civic spaces. The article is a stab at reporting on lots of interesting discussions, and a preliminary framework for how we might proceed critically in this space.
