We are thrilled to announce that our project, Awe in Immersive Art for Societal Transformation, led by Associate Professor Jaz Hee-jeong Choi, has been awarded the inaugural funding under the Pilot Netwerkontwikkeling Richting Europa 2024 (Pilot Network Development Towards Europe), a new initiative by Regieorgaan SIA aimed at fostering collaboration in research and innovation across Europe.
This experimental and network project brings together experts in art, design, psychology, digital humanities, and cultural mediation across Europe to explore the dynamics of awe-experiences in immersive art and how they can be extended toward societal transformation through engagement design and cultural mediation. By doing so, the project sets new grounds for transdisciplinary creative practice, research, and collaboration.
