Lectors Martijn de Waal (P&CM), and Frank Suurenbroek (Building Transformation) explain in more detail the ‘From Prevention to Resilience Project: Designing Public Spaces in Times of Pandemics’. The research grant for this project was awarded by the ZonMW COVID-19 programma Maatschappelijke Dynamiek. It will focus on how 1,5m distance interventions can be designed in such a way that they also contribute to more sustainable and resilient neighborhoods.
